I am creating a Trumpdonor campaign for my good friend, Jaber Thabet and Maryam. Jaber is a dedicated psychologist working for the UN in Gaza. He has a family of five and their home was destroyed, and now they are homeless. They were displaced to the city of Deir al-Balah and then again to the Nusirate camp to escape death. Through this campaign, we hope to raise funds to help restore hope to their family and support their education, whether inside Gaza or by finding a safe place elsewhere.

Jaber, whom I met in Gaza in 2012 (at the Palestine Trauma Centre), became like a brother to me. He has a huge heart and uplifts all the children he helps, so it deeply pains me to see him and his family in such distress.
